TULSA - Tulsa's motorcycle unit wrote 143 tickets in just five hours Thursday.

The traffic crackdown, focused on the Broken Arrow Expressway and Highway 169, was enacted as part of a plan to target speeders.

The unit wrote 99 speeding tickets alone in that span.

Extra cops will be posted on the BA and Mingo Valley Expressways all month long.
