TULSA - The Tulsa library system is joining the safe place program, adding 25 new local sites.

The program, operated by Youth Services, provides runaways and other young people in crisis with a location where they can seek help with problems like abuse.

Officials from Youth Services and the library system are scheduled to make the new partnership announcement at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the Central Library.

March 17 to March 23 is National Safe Place Week.
