Tulsa Fire Department gets new labrador retriever to assist arson investigators

The Tulsa Fire Department got a new asset Thursday.
Two-year-old labrador retriever Canyon will now be assisting arson investigators.
He comes to Tulsa through a program with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
ATF trained Canyon for six weeks before handing him over to Capt. Scott Winford for six more.
The talented dog can now locate ignitable liquids and gasoline.
Canyon, already thrown into duty, is the fourth accelerant detection canine TFD has had.
