TULSA - A Tulsa man is in jail after leading a Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy on a chase through midtown Tulsa just after midnight.
According to the police report, the deputy attempted to pull over a white Jeep with an expired tag but the driver sped away.
The Jeep jumped a curb a couple miles away and the driver abandoned the vehicle, authorities say.
A Tulsa police officer found a man matching the description of the suspect a few blocks away.
Authorities arrested 47-year-old David Charles Shell on two outstanding felony warrants along with several charges related to the pursuit.
