TULSA - The Tulsa City Council approved a $200 rate increase for EMSA Tuesday.
Anyone who doesn't subscribe to EMSA's Total Care program will have to pay $1,300 for an ambulance ride.
The price hike expires Dec. 31.
Councilors are hoping to be able to review the results of an audit by then in order to decide on an extension of the higher rates.
