STROUD, Okla. - The westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike are now back open after a construction worker was injured.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the worker was hurt just west of Stroud.
Neither the cause or severity of the worker's injury was made available.
Westbound traffic was shut down for approximately a half hour until a medical helicopter could land and transport the victim.
No other information has been released at this time.
