TULSA - Tulsa Police arrested a man for robbing a pharmacy within an hour of the alleged crime.

According to an arrest report, Javier Diaz, 24, entered Drug Warehouse at 31st and Harvard before 11:45 Friday morning and produced a note that said he was armed, demanding pain killer medications.

Officers were able to arrest Diaz near the 17700 block of E. 41st around noon.  

Police say Diaz admitted to the crime during a police interview.

He is being held at Tulsa County Jail on robbery charges and other traffic-related offenses.
