TULSA - Tulsa police say a man was shot by his girlfriend around 10:30 Saturday night near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Newton Place.
Officers say the man and his girlfriend were physically fighting when the woman shot him in the stomach.
The woman was interviewed by the family violence unit and released, police say.
Officials say the man was transported to the hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery overnight.
No arrests have been made in the incident.
