TULSA - Saint Francis Hospital will begin putting the finishing touches on its expansion Monday.
The $206 million addition will house a new trauma emergency center and patient bed tower.
The new eight-story tower will add 500,000 square feet to the hospital, making room for 150 more patient beds and 85 more trauma patients.
A topping out ceremony for the new tower is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Monday. Guests will be invited to sign a pink steel beam that will be lifted into place on top of the new building.
The entire project is expected to be complete by the summer of 2014.
