TULSA - Weekend partiers are being offered the popular Tipsy Tow service provided by AAA Oklahoma for the Labor Day holiday period.

AAA is offering free rides and tows within a 15-mile radius from your point of pickup Friday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. until Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 2 a.m.  Drivers will be taken directly home.

The service is available in the Tulsa metro area as well as Oklahoma City, Bartlesville, Enid, Lawton, Muskogee and Shawnee.  It's free to both AAA members and nonmembers.

“Many of us will be spending this last long weekend of the summer celebrating with family and friends,” said Chuck Mai, spokesman for AAA Oklahoma. “However, if the celebration involves the consumption of alcohol, we urge motorists to not chance climbing behind the wheel after drinking; instead, request a Tipsy Tow for a safe and free ride home."

To use Tipsy Tow, call AAA Oklahoma at (800) 222-4357 and ask for Tipsy Tow.
