Free Thanksgiving Day meals in Green Country

TULSA - A number of Green Country eateries, churches and shelters are opening their doors to the community Thanksgiving Day.

And with the gift of giving in mind, many are offering meals free of charge.

Here's who we've found to be participating:

John 3:16 Mission - Located at 506 N. Cheyenne. The mission will be serving the homeless at 5:45 p.m. Nov 20-25. (918) 587-1187

Big Daddy’s - Located at 4560 N. Lewis. Free dinner for the community from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (918)430-0018

Tally’s - Located at 11 ^th & Yale. Free dinner for the community from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (918) 835-8039

Salvation Army-Tulsa - Located at 102 N. Denver.Free to everyone at Homeless Shelter: Center of Hope from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (918) 587-7801

Tulsa County Social Services - Located at Charles Page Blvd. Free for Tulsa County residents from 5:30-6 p.m. (918) 596-5560 2401

Golden Saddle BBQ - Located at 6618 E. Admiral. Serving free meals to active military and veterans from 12-2 p.m. (918) 835-2882

Duffy’s - Locate at 706 S. Elm Pl., Broken Arrow. Free to anyone from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (918) 251-3285

Apple Barrel  Located at 151 ^st & Memorial, Bixby. Free to anyone from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (918) 366-2600

Oklahoman’s For Equality - Located at 621 E. 4 ^th St. Free for the community 12-2 p.m. (918) 743-4297

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church - Located at 9100 E. 21 ^st St. Free for the community from 5-7 p.m., call for reservation if possible. (918) 627-2713

Frank’s Café - Located at 5451 S. Mingo Rd. Free to anyone from 10:30 a.m-2 p.m. or until food runs out. (918) 740-5623
