TULSA - Tulsa police have tentatively identified a body found Wednesday in a field next to a north Tulsa school.
Police say a contractor mowing the field near Tulsa's McLain High School found the body behind a gas station near East 49th and North Peoria.

Police on the scene say the body was badly decomposed and appeared to have been there for some time.
On Thursday, police said the body is tentatively identified as Terrance Monroe Washington, 35. An identification card was found with the body, though positive identification is being determined by the medical examiner.
Police say the cause of death remains undetermined at this time.
