OWASSO, Okla. - Owasso's suspended city manager wanted for writing a bogus check was arrested Tuesday and soon after released on bond.
Rodney Ray, 66, was booked into Tulsa County jail just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A warrant was issued for the embattled city manager Monday after allegations Ray wrote a bogus check of more than $3,000 in 2010 and lied to Owasso police shortly thereafter.

Ray was placed on administrative leave in late May following a complaint from a city employee.
Ray was released on $2,000 bond and is due in court June 18.
