WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. - A Wagoner County home was the scene of an arson this month and sheriff's deputies are looking for anyone with information.
On Sept. 20, a flammable liquid was used to set fire to the home near Highway 51 and 230 Road just west of Wagoner, said Major Gary Handley. Fires were ignited in two separate areas outside of the home.
Crime scene evidence is currently being processed by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation's lab, said Handley, and there is a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the fire.
Witnesses told investigators a dark-colored, possibly dark green SUV, left the area at a high rate of speed during the time of the fire.
Anyone with information is asked to call Wagoner County Investigator Danny Elliot at (918) 485-3124 or call the tip line at (918) 485-7799.
