TULSA - The suspect in a Walgreens robbery is in custody less than a day after Tulsa police released video of the crime.
Officers were asking for help identifying and locating the suspect who stole several prescription bottles from the pharmacy at 15th and Yale Sunday afternoon.
Police say the man approached the counter with a handwritten note demanding the medication.
Police released surveillance video Monday afternoon and a short time later Patrick Phillips, 21, turned himself in to authorities.
Police say Phillips, who arrived with a bag of prescription medication bottles, was arrested by robbery by force or fear. He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on $50,000 bond.
