TULSA - Three people were arrested Friday in connection with Tulsa’s first homicide,  police say.

Police say Jamal Dante Long, 19, Warren Dixon, 29, and Deonta Dixon, 21 were in a dispute with the victim, 31-year-old Ronnie Stanley over money.

Stanley died at a Tulsa hospital Friday after he was found shot lying in the street near his home in the 1800 block of North St. Louis around 4:00 p.m.

The three suspects were taken into custody a few hours later after police stopped a car matching the description of a vehicle seen at the time of the shooting, police said.

Police are still investigating and do not have a clear motive.

Police say Stanley’s home is directly involved in the murder but did not elaborate.

Anyone who may have information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-2677, the homicide tip line at 918-798-8477 or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org
