Operation Homefront's "Stuff the Bus Oklahoma 2012" event kicks off next week.
On Friday, Oct. 12, a Tulsa Transit bus will be parked outside KJRH studios in midtown Tulsa. Our on-air talent will be outside collecting donations for Oklahoma's soldiers and their families.
"Stuff the Bus" will support Operation Homefront’s many holiday programs, which provide meal assistance and gifts for military families in need.
The charity is in need of gas and grocery gift cards, new sporting equipment and new toys for children.
Operation Homefront provides emergency and other assistance to the families of Oklahoma service members, and for wounded warriors, of all services, Active, National Guard and Reserve.
This is an all-day event.
