TULSA - Tulsa police responded for the second night in a row to a car that slammed into a pole.
Just before 11 p.m. Thursday, an SUV plowed into a telephone pole near 41st and Memorial -- the same intersection where a car hit a power pole the night before.

Police believe the driver of the SUV was speeding down Memorial when he lost control, hit a curb and slammed into the pole.
The impact sheared the pole off at the base, leaving it hanging only by the wires.
The SUV finally stopped when it ran into a fire hydrant.
No one was injured.
On Wednesday night, a woman suffered minor injuries after crashing her car into a power pole on the other side of the street.
