TULSA - Early Wednesday morning we posted a story called " Numerology of 12/12/12: Cool or lucky?"
The story dealt with, as one would assume, the potential for luck and love on a day that had numerologists across the world drooling.
It was turning out to be just another day. And then something wonderful happened.
2NEWS caught wind of a wedding at the courthouse. Not one with music or fanfare, only two others were in attendance.
Just Paul and Pauline in love -- at the ripe old age of 93 and 84.
The happy couple says they've known each other for 12 years. They both had been married to their late spouses for 50 years.
"No sense being out here all alone when I have someone to love me," said Paul, a WWII veteran who dropped with the 101st Airbourne on D-Day in Normandy.
The pair says the day just felt right.
Not just any day after all.
