A Skiatook man drowned Sunday afternoon at Osage Park on Skiatook Lake.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Jeffrey Allen Clegg, 32, dove from the cliffs into the lake just before 4 p.m. Sunday. Clegg went under and never resurfaced.
OHP said troopers, along with The Corps of Engineers worked to recover Allen, used a side scan sonar to retrieve his body from 12 feet of water.
Osage County Sheriff’s Office, Skiatook Fire and Rescue and Osage Nation Police Department also responded.
