TULSA - Police in Skiatook are investigating after a rash of break-ins to both cars and homes.
Officials warn residents to be sure to lock their doors and keep valuable belongings out of their cars.
Investigators say thieves broke into nearly 10 cars over the past few days.
Detectives call it a case of "car hopping" where the crooks hit several cars in a row. They say all the cars were unlocked.
Officers are stepping up patrols in the area, but they have yet to make any arrests.
