SKIATOOK, Okla. - A cottage dedication at Skiatook Lake has been moved to another location due to a fire in the area.

Labor Day activities were delayed after a fire started about a mile south of the Cross Timbers Marina near the Tall Chief Cove boat ramp Monday afternoon.

Country Corner Fire Department responded to the fire around 2:45 p.m. with Rock and Skiatook fire departments.

Officials say the fire burned at least 20 acres, but no structures were threatened.

Briefly after the fire, organizers moved the cottage dedication to the marina.
