TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on a woman from Tahlequah who has been missing since Dec. 13.

Karen Marsh, 53, was last seen leaving her apartment complex in her car that evening.

Officials say her abandoned vehicle was found near the Illinois River and Highway 10 around 11 p.m. the next night.  The doors were unlocked and her purse had been left inside.

Officers from the Tahlequah Police Department say they attempted to make contact with Marsh at her residence and determined she had not been seen in several days.

Rangers of the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission, Cherokee County deputies and local firefighters searched the area of Sparrow Hawk Mountain, where her car was found, and were unable to locate Marsh.

Anybody with information regarding the whereabouts of Karen Marsh, please contact CCSO Undersheriff Jason Chennault at (918) 456-2583 or Tahlequah PD Detective Jeff Haney at (918) 456-8801.
