TULSA - A man is behind bars in connection with a Christmas Eve 2012 homicide.
Twenty-year-old Shawn Banks was found shot and killed Dec. 24, 2012 at Town Square Apartments in north Tulsa.
Police say they received a call about shots fired in the area about 30 minutes before Banks was killed but they never found a scene.
On Thursday afternoon, investigators arrested Shelvon Williams in connection with Banks' death.
Police say Williams, 18, ran from a car near Virgin and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. He was found in a nearby backyard.
Police say Williams had multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants.
Williams was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for first-degree murder.
