TULSA - A man police believe is behind several sexual assaults near the 41st and Yale area is bound over for a district court arraignment.
Sex Crimes Detectives released a sketch Jan. 9 of a man suspected of touching women inappropriately near the shopping center and attempting an assault at a nearby park.
A man matching that suspect's description committed sexual battery on a woman at a store near 81st and Sheridan.
Police say the victim confronted the suspect and called 911.
Officers arrived at the scene and took Brandon James, 24, into custody. He is being held on five counts of sexual battery, one count of lewd molestation of a minor and one count of assault.
James waived his right to a preliminary hearing and further time to plead on Tuesday in Tulsa County District Court.
He was bound over for a district court arraignment set for March 25 and was remanded back to custody to the Tulsa County jail.
