TULSA - Thousands are expected to gather downtown Monday to "Get Motivated."
The BOK Center is hosting the Get Motivated Business Seminar with doors opening at 6:45 a.m.
The city is expecting approximately 10,000 extra people to be in the downtown area and an additional 6,000 cars on Tulsa streets and highways, which will cause traffic delays for downtown drivers during daytime business hours, spokeswoman Michelle Allen said.
Downtown drivers are generally used to normal delays during peak morning rush-hour traffic patterns, but should be aware of further delays during the peak morning rush-hour traffic pattern and plan accordingly, Allen said.
Speakers at the seminar include former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Lou Holtz and former First Lady Laura Bush.
