TULSA - One westbound lane of traffic along the Turner Turnpike in Sapulpa was shut down Friday morning after a messy wreck involving a semi.

Troopers say the driver, who was hauling fresh produce, likely fell asleep at the wheel, crashing into a parked semi at a rest area.

The impact split the trailer, spilling vegetables all over the road.  The back of the parked truck was peeled open.

The driver in the parked semi was taken to the hospital as a precaution.  The other driver wasn't injured.
