TULSA - A semi crash on Interstate 44 in west Tulsa halted morning traffic Wednesday.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a semi struck a bridge pillar, closing the eastbound lanes of I-44 at the Union Avenue Bridge.
Officials initially reported the westbound lanes were closed.
The inside lane of eastbound I-44 will be closed at Union Avenue (near US-75) until further notice due to the accident, officials said.
Caution should be used on both Union Avenue and I-44 as crews inspect the area for possible damage.
Drivers can expect delays in the corridor and should locate an alternate route if possible.
