SAND SPRINGS, Okla. - Sand Springs students welcomed Tulsa Tech staff to the community as the new campus was dedicated Wednesday.
The state-of-the-art building, which is 71,000 square feet with room to expand, cost roughly $16 million to purchase and build.
Classes begin this fall with already 300 full-time students enrolled. The campus can accept up to 500 students.
This is the seventh Tulsa Tech campus in the district. Earlier in the week, Tulsa Tech dedicated its Owasso campus.
School leaders say their next focus is to update their older campuses.
