TULSA - Police say the man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in her home and stealing her 3-month-old puppy has turned himself in.

Police say Brandon Alexander, 18, forced his way inside the woman's home near Archer and North Lewis around 6 a.m. Friday.

After forcing his way into the house, police say Alexander assaulted the woman and stole her puppy before fleeing. He also stole a .22 caliber handgun.

Police have since located the puppy as well as the stolen gun and a bandana. The puppy was returned to its owner.

Alexander was arrested on complaints of sexual assault and battery, burglary of a vehicle and armed robbery. His bonds total $56,500.
