TULSA - A former Tulsa police officer found guilty in the first police corruption trial was acquitted of one charge.
Retired Cpl. Harold Wells filed a motion for acquittal of all five charges of which he was found guilty last month.
The judge dropped one count, saying there was insufficient evidence.
Wells also filed for a new trial.
That request was denied.
