TULSA - A little sliver of west Tulsa is about to become to get a makeover
The RedFork Main Street project is an effort to beautify and revitalize the west Tulsa community
Thursday, the group broke ground on what's called the "triangle project."
The little area of grass near I-244 and 41st St. will get a wall to block the highway, bricks and landscaping.
"Our projects are small, we want to start with small ones but our goal is to revitalize the entire area from one end to the other all the things in between:," said Don Engle, the RedFork Main Street President.
The RedFork Main Street starts at the 7th Street bridge on Southwest Boulevard and continues to 33rd West Avenue.
The triangle project will start September 1st and is expected to take 90 days to complete.
