GLENPOOL, Okla. - Residents in Glenpool have a chance to weigh in on plans for a new sports complex.

The massive new facility would sit on 30 acres at 161st and Elwood and include six baseball fields, a batting cage, a sand volleyball court, a multi-purpose arena and two restaurants.

Funding for the complex would come from $1.2 million left over from Vision2025 and $6.8 million from Vision2, on which Tulsa County residents will vote in November.

Glenpool officials say this development could bring about $40 million to the city per year.

Glenpool would split revenue from the facility with an outside company hired to maintain it.

A public meeting on the proposal is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday at Glenpool City Hall.
