TULSA -- AAA Oklahoma says Tulsans are enjoying the lowest gasoline prices in the nation.
The average price for self-serve regular gas was about $3.02 in Tulsa Tuesday. AAA says that's the lowest citywide average price of all major metro cities in the country. It says some Tulsa locations are selling the fuel for less than $3 per gallon.
Oklahoma City's average price for self-serve regular is about $3.24. Tuesday's statewide average price is about $3.29. It has dropped each of the last 21 days and is now 62 cents below the 2013 high of $3.92 set on May 21.
Regional supply disruptions in May and early June propelled gas prices sharply higher in some parts of the country, including Oklahoma. Prices in Oklahoma and the other areas have since stabilized.
