TULSA - Voters in eastern Oklahoma will head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the highly contested race for a new state representative.
Congressman Dan Boren announced earlier this year he will not return for another term, leaving his District 2 seat up for grabs.
Republicans are deciding between plumbing company owner Markwayne Mullin and three-term State Rep. George Faught.
Democrats will choose from longtime prosecutor Rob Wallace and Muskogee seed seller Wayne Herriman.
The winner from each party will square off against Independent candidate Michael Fulks in November.
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
