TULSA - A woman could face charges in the death of her boyfriend, according to Tulsa police.

On Dec. 1, police say the woman called authorities, admitting she shot her boyfriend, 57-year-old Robert Braggs.

Braggs was transported to a local hospital in "grave condition" and the woman was questioned by detectives.  She told officers Braggs was "jumping on her."

The woman was released after giving her statement.

Nine days later Braggs died from the gunshot wound.

Detectives have not publicly identified the woman.

The Tulsa County District Attorney's Office will determine whether charges are filed.

Braggs' death is Tulsa's 44th homicide of the year.
