TULSA - A 62-year-old woman was arrested Monday for arson after police say she tried to light her ex-husband's cars on fire.
Katherine Hamilton was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for fourth-degree arson.
Around 1:15 a.m., Hamilton tried to set the vehicles ablaze using gasoline, according to the police report. They were parked about 3 feet from her ex-husband's home near 22nd and Memorial.
A tow truck driver spotted the fire and saw Hamilton leave the scene in her own car, police say. The driver relayed Hamilton's tag number to police and she was pulled over a short time later
According to the police report, officers found a one-gallon container used for gasoline in the passenger-side floor board of Hamilton's car.
She was booked on $20,000 bond.
