Alcohol is being blamed for a deadly car and horse collision.
It happened just after 9pm last night in Stephens County.
39-year-old Shawn Scarbrough of Duncan was riding a horse on a rural road in the same direction.
Troopers say the 19-year-old driver of the car swerved to miss the horse, but the horse jumped in front of the car.
The rider was ejected and killed. The horse survived the accident.
Troopers say Scarbrough smelled of alcohol.
The driver of the car was treated and released.
