MUSKOGEE, Okla. - UPDATE - The suspect in the shooting death of a 2-year-old boy in Muskogee has turned himself in, according to authorities.
Corporal Pedro Zardeneta, Community Relations Officer for Muskogee Police Department, said Elbert Meeks, 21, turned himself in to Tulsa Police around midnight Wednesday.
According to Zardeneta, investigators have brought him back to Muskogee.
Meeks has been arrested and is facing 1st degree murder charges.
Detectives say the shooting stemmed from an argument, earlier in the day.
They do not believe, the toodler, JaCion Logan was the intended target.
Muskogee Police are investigating the shooting death of 2-year-old JaCion Logan.
Police say it happened near the 1100 block of Indianapolis Wednesday night.
Investigators say they responded to a shots fired call around 7:20 p.m.
They are not releasing much information right now, they will confirm the 2-year-old was shot and died after being transported to the hospital.

Investigators are looking for a suspect in the case. Elbert Meeks aka Lee Meeks, 21 is described as a black man with brown eyes and black hair. He is between 5 feet 9 inches tall and 6 feet tall weighing approximately 165-180 pounds.
A reward is being offered to anyone with information in the case.
