TULSA - A couple is behind bars after leading Broken Arrow and Tulsa police on a car chase overnight.
It ended in the parking lot of a church near 101st and Yale when the car hit a pole.
Authorities say it began with a stolen vacuum cleaner.
BA police say the couple stole the vacuum from Walmart near 61st and Elm, and the chase started when police tried to stop the driver for running a stop sign.
The couple sped into Tulsa where TPD used helicopters to track them, police say.
The driver ended up crashing into a pole, then took off on foot. He was caught minutes later.
The woman was found hiding near some bushes.
Police are holding the two for running a stop sign and speeding among other charges.
Their names haven't been released.
