TULSA, Okla. - Captain Brown with Oklahoma Highway Patrol tells 2News that a man and woman are in serious to critical condition from a collision with a police car around 11:30 Saturday morning.
Brown says the police officer was in route to a call going southbound on Riverside when the sun got in his eyes. The two victims on a motorcycle were heading northbound.
The motorcycle hit the extreme front left corner of the police car, Brown says. The two motorcycle victims were transported to St. Francis Hospital. The police officer was taken to St. Johns and released.
Brown says their main concern is the two citizens recover quickly.
"The police officer is hurting more on the inside then physically," he said.
The two victims are expected to recover.
