TULSA - Tulsa police say a man who was named as a person of interest in an arson investigation has been arrested in connection with a 2011 robbery case.

Police had been seeking 20-year-old Kenneth Demarco Ferguson as a person of interest in a fire that started at the Pomeroy Apartments near 68th and Lewis Avenue early Thursday morning.

2NEWS has been told the gas was found on outside steps and a second floor landing where the fire started in front of one apartment.

"Yes it was definitely a set fire. It was arson," said Stan May with the Tulsa Fire Department. "There was some gasoline used."

A warrant for Ferguson was issued on Oct. 4,  in connection with a robbery case in 2011.  He now faces charges of robbery with a firearm, possession of a firearm by an adjudicated delinquent and stolen property.
