TULSA - Authorities say a man got more than he bargained for from a victim he was trying to rob near 11th Street and Delaware Avenue on Saturday.
"Our robbery victim pulled out a box knife and slashed the face of our robbery suspect, so the robber suspect fled," Tulsa Police Corporal Greg Smith said.
Investigators say 40-year-old Tim John Wayne Howard assaulted his mother earlier in the afternoon, and then went to his grandmother's house and assaulted her.
Howard's mother was treated at a local hospital.
Howard was arrested at a nearby apartment complex.
