TULSA - Tulsa police say a man was stabbed while attacking several family members, including children, on Saturday.
Police say a man came home after drinking just after midnight and began fighting with everyone in the house. Officers say he assaulted several family members before the homeowner's boyfriend intervened.
Investigators say the suspect the attacked the boyfriend, and the boyfriend stabbed the suspect in the back of the neck in self defense.
"All indications are the boyfriend was trying to defend himself, and in defending himself he had to stab the person in order to get him off of him," Tulsa police Sergeant Justin Farley said.
The suspect then fled the scene, hiding in a shed in the backyard until police found him. He was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made, but police say the boyfriend will probably not face any charges.
