TULSA - Tulsa police say a man set fire to his own hotel room and began fighting with other hotel guests on Friday.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze in a room at America's Best Inn and Suites near 31st Street and South Memorial Drive around 4:45 p.m Friday. Police say Jamal Frazier, 24, set fire to the room while under the influence of cocaine.
According to the arrest report, Frazier then began running around the hotel complex, dumping trash and fighting with other people in the hotel. Officers say Frazier bit one man and attacked him with a fire extinguisher.
Frazier then refused to give police any personal information, and tried to bite and kick officers while he was being taken into custody, according to the report.
Frazier was booked for first-degree arson, obstruction, resisting arrest, and assault and battery.
Bond has been set at $22,000.
