TULSA - Two suspects in last week's shooting of a north Tulsa pastor pleaded not guilty Wednesday.

Terell Cooper, 27, and 21-year-old Joeiune Nelson are two of three suspects in custody for the July 31 home invasion of Rev. Kenneth Brooks, the former pastor at City of Refuge International Ministries. Markedrik Wilson, 26, is set to appear in court Thursday.

Brooks was shot in the chest around 2 a.m. after a group of masked men kicked in his front door.

TPD issued warrants for Cedric Wilson and Rondale Boyd Monday naming Boyd as the suspected gunman.

Boyd faces a count of shooting with intent to kill. All five are charged with robbery with a firearm and first-degree burglary.
