OWASSO, Okla. - Eighteen people have been displaced due to two home fires in Owasso Monday night.
Owasso fire officials said one home was heavily involved when crews arrived and then spread to a second home near North 117th East Ave. and East 86th Street North.
The Air National Guard was called to assist with a mobile refill station, officials said.
The Tulsa chapter of the American Red Cross dispatched two teams to assist the approximately 18 people affected with immediate necessities such as a place to stay, food, clothing, shoes and seasonal garments as needed, said Donita Quesnel with the American Red Cross.
