OWASSO, Okla. -

At least 50 people waited in line Tuesday morning for a chance at winning a $100 gift card at the grand opening of a Taco Bueno in Owasso ... including 90-year-old Billy Randell, a resident of the nearby Prairie Village retirement community, who said she goes to Taco Bueno every chance she gets.

After waiting and hoping her favorite restaurant would open a location closer to her home, she heard the news her wish was granted.

On Tuesday morning, she was at the restaurant on 116th Street North near Highway 169 at 5:30 a.m., waiting in the cold to be among the first patrons of Owasso's newest Taco Bueno. Others came the night before at 8:30.

“(People) probably think I’m crazy,” said Randell. “I’m a Bueno head.”

While Randell was bundled up in a blanket, others were lying down in the beds of their trucks with mattresses and sleeping bags.

The first 30 guests won a $100 gift card to Taco Bueno.

Owasso's other Taco Bueno is on 86th Street North near Highway 169.
