OWASSO, Okla. - The Patriot Golf Club in Owasso will host the 2013 Patriot Cup golf tournament in honor of Memorial Day.
Bob Stoops, the University of Oklahoma's head football coach, will be on hand as well as professional golfer Rickie Fowler.
The opening ceremony begins at 9 a.m. Monday followed by a full day of golf.
Each team is made up of a celebrity, one military golfer and one Fold of Honor guest.
The tournament benefits the Owasso-based Folds of Honor Foundation, an organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and dependents of military members killed or disabled while serving our great nation.
Tickets for the event cost $35 for adults. Children 16 and under, as well as active and non-active military personnel with military ID, are free.
