TULSA - Tulsa police surrounded a building at East 47th Street and Braden Avenue, believing a man who had stolen a car was hiding inside an apartment.

Officers believe 30-year-old Johnathan Diedrich had been in the building but they think he escaped soon after the first officers arrived around 11 p.m.

Diedrich is also wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that left one woman injured in December.

Three people with a baby came out of the building during the standoff.  Police searched the attic and found nothing.

Anyone with information on Diedrich is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS.
